What are the eligible financing amounts?
At Alabama Power, we’re making home improvements less of a dream and more of a reality. Smart Financing offers lending rates of 9.9% to 19.9% on purchases from $2,000 to $25,000. To get started, contact The AC Guy LLC for home improvements, like HVAC upgrades, repairs, and more. Once they arrive, they will walk you through the application process. After submitting, you can get approved in minutes!
What products and services will Smart Financing finance?
Alabama Power Smart Financing proudly covers a wide range of energy-efficiency home products and power-related services! Check out the homeowners page for a complete list of products and services eligible for financing.
Can I apply with a co-applicant?
Yes! We encourage you to apply with a co-applicant if the project address is in Alabama. However, it’s important to note that the applicant or the co-applicant must be the homeowner designated on the deed to qualify for financing. Additionally, the Smart Financing program should only be used to finance approved energy efficiency products and services installed in single-family homes.
What are the requirements to apply for financing?
If your home is located in Alabama and is a single-family home (and you have a valid email address), you are most likely eligible for financing! The minimum amount of financing you can receive is $2,000, with a maximum of $25,000 with lending rates of 9.9% to 19.9%. And, you don’t have to be an existing customer of Alabama Power to apply. Some other things to consider when applying for financing include: The applicant must own the mobile home and land if a project is located at a mobile home residence. If applying as an Alabama Power customer, the account holder or responsible party for the account must apply as an applicant or co-applicant. If a legal Power of Attorney is involved, please submit the POA document to a Smart Financing provider before making an application.And, if you’re a company employee (Alabama Power) or retiree, we offer special financing!
